Global Yacht Training uses only the best craft. All our yachts are coded to comply with with the RYA/MCA code of practice relevant to the area of operation, and all comply to local safety regulations where applicable. We ensure our yachts are of the highest standard, and that they are tweaked and modified to give the best sail training and provide safety, speed and comfort.

This Farr designed cruiser racer has a great record of race wins around the world and is a popular cruiser. With eight berths in four cabins, a big powerful rig and spacious cockpit she is a real passage maker.

 

 
Sydney 60
 

A Bashford design from Australia, this 60 foot ocean going machine sleeps 14 and is perfect for those long ocean passages.

These are great yachts, tiller steered or wheel, they are simple to sail, and ideal for the intensive training sections of the courses. with 6 berths and a simple but effective lay out, they are comfortable and quick, allowing for fast passage.

 
Dehler 34
 

New to the fleet this year are these successful racer cruisers. Wheel steered, they are another fast comfortable training yacht used in the UK.

 
Maxi 1100
 

These 36 footers are another great training yacht we use in the UK. Wheel steered, they have 6 generous berths and are very comfortable to sail. Complete with all the toys including Radar.

 
Anchorman - Arcona 1200
 

This Swedish built beauty is a pleasure to sail. She is fast around the cans whilst being comfortable down below. Set up to sleep 8 comfortably Anchorman is used for both racing and training and competes in both inshore and offshore events.

She is surpising surefooted in rough seas and has a very solid and reassuring feel to her when being ushed hard. With very positive helm she is a perfect teaching boat allowing students the opportunity to sail a baot that responds well to the helm whilst being very frogiving at the same time.

She is in MCA code as well as sail training and and has an impressive inventory of safety equipment on board.

 

 

 
EH01 - Beneteau First 47.7
 

Built in 2004 this Bruce Farr designed Racer / Cruiser spends 8 mths of the year in the UK and Europe and the rest of her time the Caribbean. Set up for offshore racing and with a new suit of North Sails on board she has proven herself to be a joy to sail whilst remaining competitive within her class.

Set up for RORC Cat 1 and MCA coded to Cat 2 she is well equipped and spends rouphly half her time racing and the other half carrying out sail training and adventure sailing passaages.

She sleeps up to 10 people in 4 separate cabins.

As well as standard rdio equipment EH01 boasts an extensive on borad suite of satellite communications gear along with integrated electronic navigation software and laptop.
